Raw records was one of the first UK Independent record labels to come out of the Punk movement, it was started by Lee Wood who ran the oldies record shop 'Remember Those Oldies' in Cambridge in early 1977.

Their first release was the legendary debut 7" from The Users called 'Sick Of You'. From there on it was release after release including bands like The Soft Boys (featuring Robyn Hitchcock) The Killjoys (featuring Kevin Rowland) Lockjaw (featuring Simon Gallup, later with The Cure). They released two compilations 'Raw Deal' in 1977 and 'Oh No It's More From Raw' in 1978 Damaged Goods took control of the catalogue in 1990 and is now working on re-issues of selected albums and singles, the first two albums are available now as well as six singles.
